A creation derived from a precious lacquered cabinet which was designed several years earlier.
This rug, entirely knotted by hand, combines both tradition and creativity portraying a magnificent night sky clustered with large stylised planets. The pure Shiraz wool, dyed with natural pigments, produces shades of infinite blue; whereas the silk, with its ever changing reflections, creates a subtle illusion of the moon’s surface.
