An ode to nature: The KAMI coffee table."KAMI" in Japanese signifies 'roots'.
As you may have gathered by now, the inspiration for this latest creation by Nicolas Aubagnac comes from the world of vegetation. The legs in bronze have been carved to resemble the bark of a liana plant. Each leg would appear to sprout out of the ground to wrap itself around a table top and to then flow into the shape of the next leg.... The table top is a panel of lacquer made to resemble a weathered stone. The browns intermingle with black on a subtle palette worthy of a Masterpiece. Limited edition with only 12 examples all signed and stamped with a number.
