Inspired by an ointment chest found in an ancient Egyptian funeral chamber.
Two types of rare and noble wood have been used: ebony from Gabon that through its dark, almost black colour, contrast the amber, silky rosewood from Dos Santos. Bands of rosewood are pieced together to resemble rows of papyrus covered in hieroglyphics. Each drawer is decorated with precious handles carved in bronze that resemble a bouquet of papyrus stems. An exceptional piece of furniture that would enhance any entry hall or decorate any prestigious bedroom. Only three NIL chest of drawers have been made, each one signed and numbered.
